If anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. (1 John 3:17-18 ESV)

Third Saturdays are days of service set apart once a quarter for declaring the gospel through service, mercy, and/or evangelism. Our goal as a church family is to to reach out to our community with the love of Jesus through both word and deed.

On Saturday, March 16, from 7-9 p.m. Sovereign Grace Church will be packing meals at the Feed My Starving Children facility in Eagan. This time together is a great way for us to set our minds on the nations as a church. Everyone is invited to attend: singles, youth, families (the minimum age to volunteer at FMSC is 5 years old) – we’re looking forward to serving together as a church. However, we need to know if you’ll be there as there are a certain amount of spots we need to fill. Please sign up here.

We will also be taking a special offering at church on Sunday, March 10 to help cover the costs of the meals we pack. Each meal costs only $0.22 and we’re setting a goal to raise $1,485 which will feed 25 school children for one year. You can give online here or come prepared on March 10 to give during the Sunday Celebration.
