30 Days of Prayer | Finale

2018_30 days of prayer (blog) copy

Our building launch may have been delayed, but that doesn't mean we can't pray! Here is the finale of our 30 Days of Prayer. Pray with us as we enter this new season as a church. And forget to join us at 500 East Travelers Trail on Sunday! We are excited and eager to see what God has in store for all of us.

June 14: Help us to be strengthened with the power of your Spirit to walk faithfully with Jesus so that we persevere to the end

Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

John 14:16-17, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.”

Galatians 5:25, “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.”

June 15: Embolden us that we may love you and walk in the way Jesus taught us

1 Corinthians 1:17, “For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.”

John 13:34-35, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Luke 23:34, “And Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.’ And they cast lots to divide his garments.”

Mark 12:28-31, “And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, ‘Which commandment is the most important of all?’ Jesus answered, ‘The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.’”
