Sunday Preparation

In our worship, be it singing or giving or sitting under the preaching of the Word, the goal of the members of Sovereign Grace Church is to experience God as gain. And to gain as much as we can from the Sunday Celebration we need the Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts to receive God’s grace.

  • Pray for Scott Crook as he prepares to preach, Lord willing, from Philippians 3:17-4:3
  • Pray for this Sunday’s worship leader, Steve Bice, as well as the worship team.
  • Pray for all those serving in Discovery Kingdom and on the welcome team as well.
  • Consider joining the Sunday morning pre-celebration prayer group at 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. in the hall adjacent to Discovery Kingdom.

Happy Thanksgiving Sovereign Grace Church. May you rejoice today in thankfulness for the goodness and grace that continually flows from the the cross of our risen savior, Jesus Christ! As a leadership team we thank God for all the joy we feel because of each member of Sovereign Grace Church (1 Thessalonians 3:9). It is a privilege and an honor to care for and lead this local church – we are thankful. May your day be full of thanksgiving because Jesus Christ is risen!

Please be aware:

  • The church office will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 22 – 23.
  • Discovery Kingdom will not offer the full classroom ministry on Sunday, November 25. However, there will be childcare for infants through four-years-old.
  • Pastor Scott Crook from our sister church in Chaska, Cross of Grace, will be guest preaching Sunday morning.
