Sovereign Grace Blog
In our worship, be it singing or giving or sitting under the preaching of the Word, the goal of the members of Sovereign Grace Church is to experience God as gain. And to gain as much as we can from the Sunday Celebration we need the Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts to receive God’s grace.
- Pray for Rick Gamache as he prepares to preach, Lord willing, from 1 Timothy 6:1-2.
- Pray for this Sunday’s worship leader, Jon Bloom/Jameson Nass, as well as the worship team.
- Pray for all those serving in Discovery Kingdom and on the welcome team as well.
- Consider joining the Sunday morning pre-celebration prayer group at 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. in the hall adjacent to Discovery Kingdom.
Sovereign Grace Church is excited to partner with Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center for their annual Bottles for Life campaign. Please remember to bring yours baby bottles back to church this Sunday for Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center. Please fill it with coins, cash, and/or checks to help moms choose life for their babies. Thank you for helping make a difference… one life at a time!
Please remember to allow 45 minutes after the service this Sunday for a brief meeting. We plan to start at 11:45 and be done by 12:15. Given our desire to have all members in the meeting, childcare will not be provided.

If anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. (1 John 3:17-18 ESV)
Third Saturdays are days of service set apart once a quarter for declaring the gospel through service, mercy, and/or evangelism. Our goal as a church family is to to reach out to our community with the love of Jesus through both word and deed.
On Saturday, March 16, from 7-9 p.m. Sovereign Grace Church will be packing meals at the Feed My Starving Children facility in Eagan. This time together is a great way for us to set our minds on the nations as a church. Everyone is invited to attend: singles, youth, families (the minimum age to volunteer at FMSC is 5 years old) – we’re looking forward to serving together as a church. However, we need to know if you’ll be there as there are a certain amount of spots we need to fill. Please sign up here.
We will also be taking a special offering at church on Sunday, March 10 to help cover the costs of the meals we pack. Each meal costs only $0.22 and we’re setting a goal to raise $1,485 which will feed 25 school children for one year. You can give online here or come prepared on March 10 to give during the Sunday Celebration.
