Moms, Father’s Day is coming soon, and we want to bless dad on Sunday, June 16. This year, we’d like to create a fun experience for dads (and the congregation) by having moms “interview” their children about their dad. Grab a digital video camera, tablet, or smart phone, and capture some candid answers to the questions below. We’ll edit together as many of the submissions as we can possibly fit and play the result during the Sunday Celebration on Father’s Day.

Choose a few of the questions below, get the camera rolling, and ask your kids to answer them.

1. What do you love about Dad?
2. What do you like to do with Dad?
3. Why is Dad your hero?
4. Why did God make Dad?
5. Why did Dad marry Mom?
6. If Dad were a super hero, who would be be?
7. If Dad were an animal, what would he be?

Submit Your Video

Please submit your video file no later than Sunday, June 2. If at all possible, try to email the video to Peter in the church office. Otherwise, contact Peter about how to get him the video.

Additional Tips

• If you don’t have a device that records video, consider asking a friend who has one to help you out.
• Work with the kids as a group or individually. It’s up to you.
• Try to find a neutral colored background with good lighting and avoid noisy places like outside.
• Short, candid answers will make this a fun experience. Don’t feel like you have to coach the kids or get the perfect answer.

Get those cameras rolling! This will be a great way to surprise and encourage Dad.
